We want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase from https://easytechstore.com.au. This Returns & Refunds Policy outlines your rights and our procedures for returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

1. Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

Under the ACL, you are entitled to a replacement, repair or refund if a product has a major failure. You’re also entitled to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

A product or service has a major failure when it:

  • Has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying it if they had known about it
  • Is significantly different from the sample or description
  • Is substantially unfit for its common purpose and can’t easily be fixed
  • Is unsafe

For minor issues, we will offer a repair or replacement.

2. Change of Mind Returns

We offer a 14-day change of mind return policy on most items, provided that:

  • The item is unused and in original condition
  • It is returned with original packaging, accessories, and proof of purchase
  • The item is not an excluded item (see Section 4)

Change of mind returns may be eligible for a refund, store credit, or exchange (at our discretion).
Return shipping for change of mind is the customer’s responsibility unless otherwise stated.

3. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives damaged, faulty, or you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at:

4. Excluded Items (Non-Returnable)

We do not accept returns for:

  • Earphones, headphones, or any personal-use items once opened (for hygiene reasons)
  • Gift cards or digital vouchers
  • Clearance or final sale items (unless faulty)
  • Items damaged due to misuse, accidental damage, or unauthorised repair

5. How to Return an Item

To request a return, please contact our team first. We will provide return instructions including the address and any applicable return authorisation number (RA#).
Do not send items back without contacting us first, as this may delay your return processing.

6. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed via the original payment method within 5–7 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned item.
Shipping charges are non-refundable, except in cases of incorrect or faulty items.

7. Warranty Claims

Many of our products come with a manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty periods and terms vary by product and brand. If you believe your item is faulty under warranty, contact us and we will guide you through the claim process.
